Ear Falls is a small town located on the English River in Northwestern Ontario. This area boasts some of the most popular fishing destinations that Ontario has to offer!

Pakwash Provincial Park, situated north of Ear Falls, is an abode to a sandy beach 1.5 km long, natural trails, native rock paintings and natural history. Tourism is growing here and new industries are being attracted to this town because of accomplishments of this town. This town offers a huge number of attractions and services. Some recreational facilities are also there which include cross country ski trails, miles of snowmobile trails, nine hole golf course, fitness center and hockey arena which is fully equipped.
There are fantastic walleye fishing opportunities around Ear Falls. The Lac Seul and English river are rich fisheries. Some lodges are also on some other lakes for fishing walleye, like Pakwash, Woman River Chains of Lakes, Bruce and Wenasaga. There is a Perrault Falls situated on the south of Ear Falls which has a breathtaking flow of water flanked by Wabaskang Lakes and Perrault.

Known as the Bald Eagle Capital of North America, this Ear Falls offers an exceptional opportunity to glimpse these regal birds in flight.
Hydroelectric, tourism, forestry, power generation and lumber production are the main industries of Ear Falls.
There is a Visitor Information Centre situated on the Waterfront Park, opened in the June to September, and offers brochures on Ear Falls tourism services, accommodations and attractions, town maps, and local service businesses. You can find here a covered picnic area, a big restroom, change room with showers and a playing field. It also has “The Patricia”, which is a cargo boat constructed in 1930s and has been fully reinstated. There are some parks and picnic areas in this town like; Sportsplex, Pakwash Provinical Park, The Waterfront Park and Ear Falls Golf and Country Club.

It sounds amazing, I live in the UK and we have nothing that comes remotely close to Ear Falls, a true Walleye fisherman’s dream location!
